Bellinger Larrard is a quintessentially British practice, classically informed and yet contemporary, specialising in quality design solutions for commercial, investment and luxury residential interiors. We offer a full or partial design service - from creative concept, through to management and installation.
The details are not the details. They make the design.
At the heart of our design philosophy is a genuine desire to assist clients in achieving, and hopefully exceeding, their aspirations; by developing a close working relationship, carefully listening and passionately inspiring. We are able to unlock unseen potential and bring innovative and imaginative design solutions to client’s projects. With the personal touch of a small company our schemes are thought to be elegant, considered and designed for longevity.
Ever mindful of the clients design brief, budgetary requirements, and the need for practicality and quality of workmanship; we are able to create beautifully balanced environments, combined with comfort and tranquility.
From our primary offices in Wiltshire, the practice provides professional design around the South West and South East of England and further afield. Consultations can also be held in Surrey and Valais, Switzerland. With our particular interest in historic buildings and unique spaces, we are able to enhance architectural details and character, using subtle palettes, natural materials and thoughtful lighting.
Typical design process:
Introducing Bellinger Larrard and how we work, discussing your brief, budget and how much involvement you would like our practice to have, viewing the space.
Written confirmation of your ideas, requirements and cost of your design work.
Once you have agreed to proceed a second meeting is arranged, to take a fuller brief and conduct a measured survey where appropriate.

One/two subsequent meetings if applicable. Varying according to the complexities, depth and type of project, and any client changes.
Final design phase

Meeting with consultants, service suppliers, contractors and craftsmen as required. Obtaining quotations for work and purchases. Overseeing of works on site, snagging and handover as required.
“A successful project is when a client knows their designer has listened, inspired and delivered."
Anita gained her degree in Interior Architecture, and chartered status, in 1987 at the ever progressive University of Brighton. This was one of only two Universities at the time to offer a degree combining both Interior Design and Architecture. Straight from University she was offered a position at the award-winning international architectural practice, Broadway Malyan. There she worked along side the Senior Architectural Partners designing for companies such as BP plc, GlaxoSmithKline plc, J Sainsbury plc, Maranello Ferrari and Sport England.
Day to day assignments covered a wide spectrum of projects, from cutting edge office interiors for FTSE 100 companies, to Grade I Heritage Listed restorations of significant buildings. At this global company, with its distinctive clients, Anita became Assistant Head of Interior Design, before fulfilling her ambition of setting up her own design practice.
Having started her Interior Design studio in Sussex, Anita now lives and works in the county of Wiltshire. With its treasured landscape and close proximity to the idyllic Cotswolds, she has gained much inspiration from these areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is no surprise therefore, that Anita has a particular interest in historical buildings and artefacts, as well as a passion for exceptional design.
